Home Fire Audit is a trade name of Boath Industry Ventures Group LLC, a Washington limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect through homefireaudit.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We are a small, locally owned business. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request a quote, join our list, or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you provide it
• Your city or neighborhood
• Details you choose to share about your home — approximate square footage, property type, and features such as an EV charger, fireplace, solar, or wine cellar

If you go on to schedule an audit, we collect additional information necessary to perform and document that service, including your property address and observations recorded during the walkthrough.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use this to understand whether the site is working and how people find it.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide a quote
• Schedule, perform, and document an audit you have requested
• Send you your report and any follow-up materials
• Send seasonal safety information and service reminders, if you have asked to receive them

• Our email provider — sending email you have asked to receive
• Licensed trade contractors — only when you ask us to make an introduction, and only with the details needed to make it

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Third-party tracking

We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites through our site. Any analytics we use are limited to measuring activity on homefireaudit.com.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals. We do not track visitors across third-party websites, so we do not change our practices in response to a Do Not Track signal.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back. We keep records related to completed audits for as long as required by our insurance, tax, and legal obligations.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
• Review, correct, or delete. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@homefireaudit.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.
• Decline to provide. You can browse this site without giving us any personal information. We only collect what you choose to submit.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
